Celignis InSightAI is a powerful artificial intelligence (AI) tool developed by Celignis and integrated with the Celignis Database. It functions as a highly-customised chatbot, focused on providing insights and conclusions from the data displayed on the page.

The user can interact with Celignis InsightAI by clicking the AI chat icon in the lower right hand side of the screen. Once launched, and authorised by the user, it has access to the results presented on the Database page and the user can ask it questions about those results.

Example Use Cases

Ask Celignis InSightAI to discuss the results.
Find out the best means of valorising the sample.
Evaluate whether, based on the data, a sample is suitable for a given valorisation route (e.g. bioethanol production) or whether treatments may be required in order to process it most efficiently.
Explain the packages associated with that sample and the analytical methods they involve. Celignis InSightAI has been trained on Celignis's 200+ analysis packages and 400+ analytes.
Reformulate the data according to user-specific requirements - e.g. express chosen values on ash-free bases.
Suggest additional analyses that may be warranted in order to get additional relevant data for the sample and its planned application(s).
Discuss the potenital for Celignis Bioprocess to work on a Bioprocess Development Service project based on the results and the user's end-needs.

Secure and Private

Celignis InSightAI has no access to the results until the user explicitly authorises it, at which point the data are submitted by the Celignis Database to the API for processing. This authorisation is required for every chat session initiated by the user, unless the user indicates that future authorisations can be bypassed.

The Large Language Model (LLM) that is fed the results from the Celignis Database has its memory function disabled, meaning that no analytical or chat data are retained by the LLM. As a result, Celignis InSightAI will not remember the chat history from previous sessions. Celignis does retain the chat logs internally in order to evaluate the performance of InSightAI and develop improvements to its functionality.

InSightAI has no access to any data outside of that presented on the page being viewed by the user. This ensures data security and privacy.

In addition to the data on the page, Celignis InSight AI is sent the name of the user (from the profile on the Celignis Database) but no further details (e.g. institution or order history). We recommend, where possible, that users give as much information as possible regarding the sample and their interests so that InSightAI's responses can be most relevant.

Current Status and Future Developments

Celignis InSightAI currently functions on the View pages for results of individual samples. This allows the user to ask questions about that particular sample.
In addition to the tabular data presented on these View pages, Celignis InSightAI also has access to thermogravimetric analysis chart data, where these are available for the sample.
The chatbot does not currently have access to the surface-area and porosity chart plots on the View page, but this functionality will be added in the future.
The Biogas View pages (i.e. those presenting the results of biomethane potential (BMP) analyses) do not currently have Celignis InSightAI integration, but this is planned in the next revision.
Future updates will also cover the List pages, allowing for comparisons between samples to be made.
