We analyse biomass for properties relevant to biological or chemical conversion to fuels (e.g. structural sugars and lignin contents).
We give detailed interpretations of the data we provide in our tests for AD. We also offer consultancy in anaerobic digestion bioprocess development and optimisation.
MoreWe have developed accurate and robust near infrared spectroscopy models that allow rapid low-cost alternatives for predicting some constituents.
MoreImportant properties relating to the combustion of biomass that we analyse include the heating value, elemental composition, ash, and moisture contents.
MoreWe can quantify a wide number of carbohydrates, their degradation products, and the oligosaccharide contents in liquid outputs from conversion processes.
MoreWe have developed methods to determine the carbohydrate composition of seaweed samples, including uronic acids, fucose, and sugar alcohols.
MoreWith Accurate Data The Opportunities Are Limitless
We maintain the highest standards of accuracy and precision in our work and are suitably sized to provide results in a rapid turnaround. Celignis is the only company to offer near infrared analysis for the rapid characterisation of biomass samples for their important lignocellulosic properties (e.g. lignin, cellulose, etc.). This rapid analysis allows us to typically provide analytical data within one day of receiving the sample.
We have also developed a user-friendly online system for placing orders and viewing data. It enables easy comparison between your samples and provides graphical representations of many data.
