50% off Analysis Costs for SMEs in NW Europe Through BioBase4SME
We are pleased to announce that, through Irish project partner TCBB Resource, Celignis's analytical services are now eligible for Innovation Coupons under the Biobase4SME project, funded by Interreg North-West Europe. This will allow 50% of the analysis costs for SMEs in the NW Europe region to come from the project, with the remaining 50% provided by the company. Coupons can be up to €100,000.
Kick-Off for BBI Project
Our latest BBI project, UNRAVEL, officially started this month and between June 12-13 we were at the kick-off meeting at ECN's headquarters in The Netherlands

Expansion Grant Awarded
We have been awarded an Expansion Grant of €66,000 to help fund new analytical equipment, our relocation to a larger premises, and additional personnel.

To celebrate the launch of our latest research project, below we provide information on our ongoing projects funded by the Horizon 2020 programme. Celignis is a spin-out from an EU research project (DIBANET) written and coordinated by founder Dan Hayes and we are open to collaborations in future projects, see our BBI 2018 pitches for more.
BIOrescue
BIOrescue launched in September 2016 and is funded by the Biomass Based Industries (BBI) Joint Undertaking. It focuses on the valorisation of spent mushroom compost and other underutilised residues.

ENABLING started in December 2017 and is a coordinating and supporting action funded by the Rural Renaissance programme. It focuses on best practices in the provision of biomass for the Bio-Based Industry.

UNRAVEL is a 4 year project, focused on biomass pre-treatment, funded by the BBI that started this month. Celignis plays a key role in analysing, removing, and recovering extractives prior to the main pre-treatment.
